Susi sisällä (The Wolf Inside)

Vesa is the perfect husband. He gives
his wife Tuula a skydive for her birthday,
buys her flowers and expensive
china, doesn’t drink, isn’t violent, communicates
and kisses. An engineer by
profession, he’s a good father to their
two children and a guy you can really
count on. But somehow, Vesa manages
to find the time to kiss a strange
woman on the street. Is the indiscretion a one-time lapse?
Or one of many?
Tiina Lymi’s debut novel, based on her play of the
same name, is a surprising and hilarious story of deceiving
and being deceived.

Tiina LymiTiina Lymi (b. 1971) is an actress, a director, a playwright
and a writer. The Wolf Inside is her maiden novel. It is
based on her own play.

“Tiina Lymi knows how to write, entertain and surprise.”
– Ina Ruokolainen, Keskisuomalainen
“This debut demonstrates such fire and narrative momentum
that it must have been tapped out with the same kind of fury
as the novel’s deceived Tuula hacks out her story of revenge
on her laptop. (…) you can’t help but laugh out loud at the
situational comedy.”
– Venla Hiidensalo, Image
“The book snatched me up for a ride and wouldn’t let go. I
was hooked; I turned page after page in suspense. It was like
being on a roller coaster: as soon as you thought, we’re done,
the ride took off again.”
– Kini, Kirjavinkit
“This everyday tragicomedy will make you laugh and cry.”
– Outi Gyldén, Kotivinkki
